If you are arriving at the international airport (and not renting your own vehicle) it is 20 minutes outside Belize City and 70 miles from Kumquat. Your main options are: or taking a cab into town then a public bus along the Western Highway (signed for Benque). This is cheaper but VERY slow (and the last one goes at 6pm). Once you get into town just call our manager and he'll meet and guide you up to the cottage. If you just want a vehicle to explore the area around San Ignacio then we suggest the place right next door, Matus
